Welcome to the Student Personnel Assistantship (SPA) program at The Ohio State University! The SPA program is the student affairs arm of Higher Education and Student Affairs (HESA) academic program. SPA has prepared leaders in the field of higher education and student affairs for over 75 years.

The SPA team offers support from application to graduation by facilitating recruitment, the assistantship process, interview days and programming for the HESA community. SPA links HESA students with funded assistantship opportunities at Ohio State in areas like housing, conduct, academic affairs, student activities, social change and career counseling – just to name a few!
